Sony Launches New Cheaper Headphones With The Same Technology As WH-1000XM5

Sony has just released a new pair of headphones that will make you think twice about spending big bucks on premium models. The WH-CH720N headphones, which use the same technology as Sony’s more expensive WH-1000XM5 headphones, are designed to give you high-quality audio at a price that won’t break the bank.

The V1 chip found in the WH-CH720N enhances the noise-canceling and sound-processing capabilities of the headphones. What’s really impressive about these headphones is their noise-canceling capabilities. They have two noise sensors that work together to block out external noise, making them perfect for use in busy environments. Plus, the headphones have an Artificial Intelligence Noise Cancelation (AINC) system that automatically adjusts the noise-canceling settings based on your surroundings. Not only do the headphones sound great, but they also have a long battery life. You can use them for up to 35 hours on a single charge, making them ideal for long trips or extended work sessions.

Sony has also introduced the same chipset to WH-CH520 which is cheaper than the WH-CH720N. While it looks like the WH-CH520 is more for daily usage, the company still provides users with high-quality sound and voice clarity, even in noisy environments. The WH-CH520 has a feature that blocks ambient noise during phone conversations, ensuring better voice clarity for users.

The headphones are also lightweight, have an adjustable headband, and can deliver up to 50 hours of listening, making them an excellent choice for all-day use. Both headphones are equipped with a Digital Sound Enhancement Engine, which enhances the sound quality of compressed audio files, allowing for a more natural listening experience.

Both these models also come with Sony’s Multipoint connection, allowing listeners to connect two Bluetooth-enabled devices simultaneously. Additionally, they are compatible with the Sony Headphones Connect app, which provides a hub for users to adjust their headphones’ audio playback controls.

The headphones will be available in blue, black, or white, and are set to hit the market this spring. The WH-CH720N will retail for approximately $149.99, while the WH-CH520 will retail for $59.99.
