Zing Music Partners With Chinese Music Competition For Greater Market Reach

Zing Music, an application that pools together music lovers into a collaborative community for the creation of new songs in various genres, has announced that it will be partnering with a Nationwide Chinese Music Competition, Liang Sheng Ying Xiong, as their official registration and online voting platform for the 15 provinces in China that the competition covers.

According to the announcement, the competition was successfully organized last year, with more than 300,000 participants and 5 million fans. This year sees it coming into the second season, with renowned music producer Yuan Wei Ren heading the panel of judges.
To date, the competition has garnered a total of 8,000 participants since its preliminary rounds in July, and more than 4.3 million fans following along. The successful partnering of Zing and this event will undoubtedly be a win-win, as Zing gains nationwide traction and a user base in the millions, and the competition organizers move their offline registrants into a sustainable online community.

The partnership will allow the users to utilize Zing Credits and vote for winners, and give fan-gifts to the contestants, as well as the launch of a competitor and fan community area within the Zing application itself.

The competition will last until January 2019, giving Zing 3 full months to move the offline participant and fan base online. The original music pieces the competitors have to offer are also greatly anticipated during this period.
