Electronics giant Sony has recently launched a new headphone dubbed WH-CH520 as a part of its affordable segment of headphones in India. The Sony WH-CH520, a toned-down version of the previously launched WH-CH720 over-ear wireless headphones, promises a battery life of up to 50 hours on a single charge.

The Sony WH-CH520 sports a 30mm dynamic driver an d the company’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) technology, which upscales audio even when compressed. Through the Sony Headphones app, users can modify sound and settings. The headphones also come with an integrated microphone for voice controls and hands-free calling.

The headphones offer a comfortable fit, thanks to the circular-shaped soft earpads and adjustable headband. The right ear cup features power, volume buttons, and a USB-C port. The Sony WH-CH520 is available in Black, Blue, Beige, and White colors.

Sony claims that the WH-CH520 can deliver a battery life of up to 35 hours with noise canceling and 50 hours without noise canceling. According to the company, a 3-minute charge will provide up to an hour of playback. The headphones come with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity with Swift Pair and Google Fast Pair features enabling the headphones to connect with devices more efficiently. In fact, the headphones can be connected to up to two devices simultaneously.

The WH-CH520 users can also get an equalizer via the Sony Connect app. The new Sony WH-CH520 will be sold for INR 4,490 across online and offline stores.

The Sony WH-CH520 is the latest addition to Sony’s audio devices. It is available for purchase from Sony Exclusive Stores, Sony Online Store, major offline stores, and e-commerce portals like Amazon.in.
