    Universal Audio Launches Select UAD Plugins for Individual Purchase, No UA Hardware Required, with Three New Bundles

    Universal Audio (UA), a leading audio production tool manufacturer, has recently announced the availability of select UAD plugins without the need for UA hardware. These plugins can now be purchased individually on the UA website or through participating retailers globally.

    In addition, UA is launching three new UAD plugin bundles, each designed to meet the unique needs of mix engineers, modern musicians, and producers. CEO and founder, Bill Putnam, Jr., said, “These UAD plug-ins and instruments are all about recreating the authentic, inspiring sounds of classic studio gear that has been used by Grammy-winning artists for decades.     These UAD plugins feature both Apollo Realtime and UAD-2 version which runs on Apollo interfaces and UAD-2 hardware, and a UAD Native version compatible with Macintosh and Windows.

    The UAD DIAMOND EDITION, priced at $999 and on offer at an introductory price of $699, is the flagship collection of UAD plugins and instruments. It includes 28 UAD plug-ins and instruments, featuring titles from API, Moog, Studer, Lexicon, and more. The UAD MIX EDITION, priced at $699 and on offer at an introductory price of $559, offers 23 UAD plug-ins, including titles from Teletronix, Lexicon, Pultec, Studer, and more. Finally, the UAD CREATIVE EDITION, priced at $499 and on offer at an introductory price of $349, features 10 UAD plug-ins and instruments, including the Moog Minimoog, Galaxy Tape Echo, Pure Plate Reverb, and all-new Waterfall Rotary Speaker.

    The UAD plugins now available natively at retailers worldwide include a range of reverbs, delay & modulation plugins, preamps, EQ & tape plug-ins, compressors, and UAD instruments. Among these are the Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb, Pure Plate Reverb, API Vision Channel Strip, Pultec Passive EQ Collection, UA 1176 Classic Limiter Collection, Teletronix LA-2A Leveler Collection, Moog Minimoog, and others.
